EUROPOINT – In Gear for British Superbikes 2018

2017 saw Europoint venture into the exciting and fast paced world of The British Superbikes as personal sponsor to Shaun Winfield of the Anvil Hire Tag Yamaha team and attended each venue to support him. Europoint clients came along to each of the race meets, culminating in Europoint hosting a fabulous event over 2 days at Silverstone with customers and suppliers attending from all over the UK.

With the 2018 season almost upon us, the first race meeting is at Donnington Park in Derbyshire between 31st March – 2nd April 2018, Europoint are proud to extend their relationship with Shaun Winfield to become one of the official Team Sponsors for Anvil Hire Tag Yamaha team.

Having supported Shaun last year, Europoint worked alongside James Foster and the team at Reade Signs, wrapping Shaun’s van with Avery Dennison ® Supreme Wrapping™ Film ColorFlow™ in Roaring Thunder which with its colour shifting visual impact and reliable durability is a show-stopper wherever Shaun turns up.

This year, as official Team Sponsors, both Europoint and Reade Signs are working with the Anvil Hire Tag team to design, print and build the interior walls and signage for the garage with a product from Brett Martin, one of Europoint’s key suppliers. By using Foamalux White Foam PVC (with a Fire Rating of Class 1), this leading brand of foam PVC sheet, is light in weight, versatile and durable, making this quality performer ideal to transport around the country. James Foster, Head of Production at Reade Signs commented: “Our aim was to design and print the internal and external signage for the garage to showcase our team’s brand with a truly seamless finish. We created all the signage at our factory in Hampshire, using our state-of-the-art EFI VUTEk LX3 Pro printer; one of only six in the UK. It uses powerful LED technology to meet growing demands for higher quality and quick turnaround, as well as higher resolution and multilayer printing. This allows us to further increase the quality of our production, whilst being more competitive and eco-friendly.”

The “new look” Garage will be unveiled at Donnington Park on 31st March and the Anvil Hire Tag team will introduce James Ellison, ex Moto GP & BSB rider who joins the team for the 2018 season. Shaun said, “It’s great welcoming James to the team and after testing at Jerez, he is quick on the bike and is helping the development of the superbikes.” He added “Changes in forks has made the front end better and with more horsepower I’m aiming to finish higher this year in the standings”.
